Bram Brandemann (*1969) studeerde, voordat hij naar het conservatorium ging, orgel en muziektheorie bij Jaap Zwart. Aan het Utrechts Conservatorium ontving hij zijn opleiding bij Theo Teunissen en vooral bij Reitze Smits. Hij behaalde zijn diploma’s Docerend en Uitvoerend Musicus in 1994 en 1996. Tijdens deze studie ontving hij een beurs om zich verder te verdiepen in de Frans-romantische en impressionistische muziek aan het Conservatoire de Toulouse. Ook studeerde hij hoofdvak Beiaard aan de Utrechtse Hogeschool voor de kunsten bij Todd fair en Bernard Winsemius. Verder behaalde hij -bij o.a. dr. Arie Eikelboom- zijn diploma kerkelijk orgelspel bij Hogeschool IDE.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sinds 2013 is Bram Brandemann als organist verbonden aan de Wilhelminakerk in Bussum, waar hij het grote en karakteristieke Flentrop-orgel bespeelt. Ook is hij sinds 2016 organist van het prachtige, historische Hinsz-orgel\u00a0 \u00a0(1754) in de Buitenkerk van Kampen.<\/p>\n

Bram Brandemann (born 1969) studied, before he went to the conservatory, organ and music theory with Jaap Zwart.\u00a0At the Utrecht Conservatory, he received his education from Theo Teunissen and especially from Reitze Smits.\u00a0He obtained his diploma Teaching and Performing Musician in 1994 and 1996.\u00a0During these studies he received a scholarship to delve further into the French romantic and impressionistic music at the Conservatoire National de Toulouse.<\/p>\n

He also studied Majoring Carillon at the Dutch Carillon School.\u00a0He was taught by Todd Fair and Bernard Winsemius, and church music by Cor Ardesch and Arie Eikelboom at the College in Gorinchem IDE.<\/p>\n

Bram Brandemann is a church organist at the Joriskerk in Amersfoort as well as the Wilhemina Church in Bussum.\u00a0He also plays during regular services in the Reformed Dorpskerk Maarssen.<\/p>\n

He made several CD recordings, the series ‘Rondom’ (English: Around) is the latest one. On these CDs you can listen to music from around the ecclesiastical year (Easter, Christmas and such). His CDs were without exception very positively reviewed in the press. He is currently working on a project to record all of Bach’s organ works on the instruments where he is the organist.
